OLD BUSINESS:
Range Targets
Charles reports that there are about 5 to 6 that are totally shot up. Need to be replaced. Discussion on looking for deals or in present closet to see what repair will involve. Will address during January work days. Possible that new targets needed. Wayne suggested we do a total count for assessment.
Toilets
Steve Milewski pointed out the savings to the club for not having toilets out during the winter. Will replace before the first membership shoot in Feb.
NEW BUSINESS:
Membership Prices and Fees for 2019
Steve asked if everyone happy with the prices. Several members pointed out higher prices as other locations. Charles made a motion to keep the individual membership at $50 and the family membership to $70. Wayne seconded. Motion passed.
Steve Seals discussed shooter fees. It was again motioned and seconded to keep shooter fees $10 for members, $20 for everyone else and $5 for fun round.
Steve suggested doing cash payback for Club shoots and medallions for the kids. All agreed. Steve Seals will obtain more medallions.
New Facebook Page
Steve Seals has been talking to an internet guru friend who suggested increasing exposure by developing a new Facebook page. Charles agreed. Steve Milewski asked questions about why. Steve answered because the other one requires membership approval. The new page would be public. Jeanette pointed out that may lower SEO, Search Engine Optimization and be confusing. Too many choices. Steve disagreed. A new facebook page will be developed.
Crossbows on the Range
Steve opened the discussion about having Crossbows allowed. They are the current rage and Steve believes that it will increase membership by about 10 to 15. Speeds can be in excess of 350 mph. Steve lopping off thumbs a common concern. Charles pointed out that the new crossbows are safer. It was pointed out by Wayne that crossbows at that speed will destroy range targets and suggested placing a disclaimer notice at the club house that warn about damage to “bolts” when crossbows are fired on practice range targets. “Bolts” which are crossbow arrows may be damaged. Motion by Delvin to allow crossbows. Wayne seconded. Motion passed.
ASA Update
Rule have changed. Now except for Open classes, all other classes are known. Thus range finders allowed. Steve therefore announced that range finders will be allowed at all tournaments were accepted including club shoots.
Membership
Steve wanted to hear ideas on how to increase membership. Suggestions made by Delvin to have a membership packet that goes out with range rules, gate code, membership card, CCBA sticker, and tournament schedule. No discussion took place on who would put that together or how postage would be paid. More than likely secretary Jeanette. Everyone thought that was a good idea.
Discussion took place on keeping the PO Box. Jeanette pointed out that over 10 memberships were received that way last year. It was decided to keep the PO box and that Charles would maintain. Charles informed Steve Milewski that he would pay for the PO box and sub the $70 required for his membership, as is what he did last year.
Charles will change gate code on January 1st.

Pro-rated Membership Fees
Steve Seals brought up that he had multiple inquiries regarding prorating membership fees for people who join in the fall. Jeanette pointed out that despite inquiries, almost no one joined in September or October maybe one membership. Steve presented Jeanette with two outstanding membership forms, but those were from May and June. Charles stated that would opening up a whole lot of chaos. Charles said NO. Jeanette agreed and said that many forms, the website, the facebook pages, and such would require changing. It would require lots of work. Steve Milewski said that our range being open at all times is a bargain in itself and way cheaper than other ranges. No one else even offers that. Brought up for motion, no one seconded. Motion failed – there would be NO pro-rating of memberships.

Wayne motioned to keep all officers the same. Steve Seals stated that all were not present. The only ones missing were Neal Kuznar and Freddie Crowder. Steve S, Steve M and Jeanette were present. Charles seconded to keep officers the same. Motion passed. Officers for 2019:

Jeanette pointed out that Randy usually was very good about updating the website and forms. Steve suggested it would be good go have someone to increase the ability of getting out timely information, announcements and marketing.
