CCBA Meeting Minutes 9-17-2018

Meeting Called to Order: 7:02 PM

Members Present: Jeanette Vaughan, Steve Milewski, Steve Seals, Freddie Crowder, Eugene Skinner, Wayne Meuir, Randy Probst, Neil Kuznar

Treasury Report by Steve Milewski:

Checking Balance: $1674.s00

Deposit 9/4 100.00

Paypal Balance 1372.00

Overall Balance: $3,000 approximately

Steve Milewski states that we need about $2500.00 to be solvent for the next year for outstanding liabilities. Steve will email with new memberships. Jeanette states she is being copied from Paypal. At least 4 new memberships.

Old Business:

ASA – Steve Seals reports that ASA requested four dates. They have been submitted for consideration.

T.H.E. Deerman schedules the first week of November. New this year, every shoot will count. There will be 3 main shoots, then state, then worlds. They will count the three highest scores. Talk about new classes. Probably will schedule CCBA for first weekend in March.

New Business:

Archery Page ?? Steve says he is not sure what group. But we need new ways to get out marketing in Princeton and/or Blue Ridge.

Lease on Land - Steve Seals mentioned that concern still on not knowing what new landlord is going to do about land. We might be in jeopardy of losing the lease. Paris leases land for $1 per year from the city. We need a contingency plan to keep open just in case.

Targets - Steve Seals says we should be set with Rhineharts and McKenzie targets in good shape. Wayne still have enough repair kits to do 6 to 8 more repairs. Some practice targets are shot up pretty bad. Talk with ? and these may need to be discarded.

Schedule - Steve Seals suggests getting schedule out and solicitation for memberships out early. Possibly by meeting in November. Randy suggest do we need a meeting in November or December? Group decides to do a cookout for November meeting. Suggestion that in November it will be too cold. Suggestion made by ? to have meeting in October before the holidays. Potluck, bring a dish. Decision made to have meeting on Saturday, October 20^th at 3:00 PM in afternoon. Discussion will be schedule, meeting and any changes needed.
