FINANCIAL REPORT: Tabled – Treasurer not present
OLD BUSINESS:
Still need to pay for CCBA Invitational buckles, need to get check from Club Treasurer Steve Milewski. Mike Jarvis will contact Ken Peterman to see if buckles can be paid for with personal credit card.
NEW BUSINESS:
Motion made, voted, and approved to close the CCBA range after targets have been set for an upcoming tournament, so that people cannot walk the course beforehand with a rangefinder.
Discussed the next shoot, which will the Archery Shooters Association (ASA) qualifier.
Club members working the shoot will need to be there early for trad shooters.
Targets will be set Friday at 9:00 am
Mike Jarvis will provide chronograph for checking arrow speed, Josh Brown will provide tripod for mounting chronograph
Steve Seals will meet with Texas state ASA rep Mike Smith to discuss details, signup sheet, score cards, etc.
Discussed possibly using a “casual” start next year instead of the “shotgun” start. Need to double-check ASA rules.
Discussed food, drinks, snacks, and the need to keep registration money separate from concession money.
Need to purchase inserts for 3D targets, but item tabled until we can get a Treasurer report.
