Monthly Meeting February 18th, 2014
MEMBERS PRESENT:

Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Provided by Steve Milewski
OLD BUSINESS:
Discussed trophies again, and this was tabled again. The next shoot will be the Deerman shoot, and they provide buckles for prizes.
Still need to send paperwork to Cabela’s for sponsorship of invitational club shoot. Mike Jarvis will help Steve Seals with the paperwork.
NEW BUSINESS:
Discussed the next shoot, which will be T.H.E. Deerman on March 1-2, 2014. They will handle setting targets and collecting money, but still need to have a club range officer on hand to collect liability waivers and possibly accept membership applications if people wants to join.
Discussed providing food for the next shoot, and Mike Jarvis will pick up hot dogs, brats, links, chips, buns, and cheese. Steve Seals thinks that we already have condiments such as mustard, mayonnaise, and relish.
Blue Ridge Sports Association has requested to use our range for a fund-raising archery tournament. We permitted this last year, and it was agreed that we would allow them to do so if they can schedule the event sometime between mid-March to mid-April, 2014.
Steve Seals mentioned that he we’ve received numerous requests about using crossbows at the CCBA, Inc. range. The board is considering the issue, but we tabled making a decision for now.
We discussed procuring some CCBA, Inc. decals. Steve Seals is going to contact the person who made the last batch.
