Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT: See Attached
OLD BUSINESS:
Steve reported for Casey Seals on the pricing for mowing. Casey's Grandad will mow with a brush hog for $35 hour. Discussion about brush hog would not mow cleanly. Members will continue mowing with option of charging club for expenses and time.
Awards buckles ordered for Invitational will be here early June. Lot of discussion on Tee Shirts for sale and for awards. Might give award winners option to pick what they want. Steve Seals will look into Tee shirt cost and volume price break.
NEW BUSINESS:
Targets will be set for the TBOT on Thursday at 5 pm. Everybody will help out with concessions and whatever else needs to be done.
Steve Seals bought two briskets to cook for Invitational. Josh Brown killed and quartered a pig. Randy cooked and froze about 23 lbs of pulled pork. We will also serve cowboy beans. There will be hot dogs also.
Lot of discussion on how to share the work. Steve suggested a point system that would reduce membership fees. Josh stated that money was not incentive, that people need a purpose to work. Randy stated that from the early days of the club many things have been tried, and nothing really worked. There is a small core group of people that will do all of the work, and the rest will simply enjoy the club.
Drive way may need some work, it is not in bad shape, but some maintenance would make it last longer. Gate hinge needs some work.
